MEVIEL stands for “multilingually diverse”, trying to improve educational opportunities for teenagers and young migrants in Austria. Thinking about bi- and multilingualism, undertaking scientific research for the practice of education and counselling, this project strives to promote improvements for the young ones regarding “super-diversity”. It is the cooperation of three different associations in Vienna though, which is really interesting for us as an inspiring practice example: Advice Centre for Asylum Seekers and Refugees, the migrant women’s meeting project “Piramidops” and the Wiener Volkshochschulen, education centres in Vienna. Together they are working for more educational justice, financially supported by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research.
